Notes:
If you ask the french from Qasar why did they wrote their first album, they will answer you that it came after crying on Ziggy Stardust and making enemies during parties playing LCD Soundsystem records at an inappropriate level. Cultivating the irony of their generation, the two main members of the band, Pablo & Guillaume begin the work on "Videogene" in 2015. Incisive, favoring a solid and refined songwriting, these teenage dreamers express the bubbling feelings of their 20 years old in nine unstoppable tracks. Nine songs talking about anxiety, virtual love stories and food. The whole thing imaged in a universe inspired by Cronenberg and Carpenter’s movies. The music is leaded by the authors’s hearbeat, sometimes nice and sometimes rough. The album prepared undergroud at Control Studio, directed and recorded by Jean-Pierre Maillard
