Tracks 1-7 recorded in New York City, November 1947 - Tom Lord's Jazz Discography gives the source as a WO-Mutual broadcast "Bands For Bonds" on November 8, 1947. The opening track of "52nd Street Theme" which appeared on the earlier LP is omitted from this CD reissue.

Tracks 8 to 11 listed as being recorded at Maple Leaf Auditorium in New York City, December 1948 - Lord gives Carnegie Hall December 25, 1949, a date and location that concurs with other releases of this music, and other source (bird.parkerslegacy site).
