Live at the Jazz Showcase (album title TBD) is the first ever release of the legendary saxophonist Stan Getz and his quartet featuring pianist Albert Dailey, bassist Clint Houston, and drummer Billy Hart captured live at Joe Segal's Jazz Showcase in Chicago, IL in January of 1975. The limited-edition 180-gram 2-LP set was mastered from the original tapes by George Klabin, Joe Lizzi and Matthew Luthans with lacquers cut by Matthew Lutthans at The Mastering Lab in Salina, KS, and pressed at Quebec's boutique audiophile pressing plant Le Vinylist. This is part of Resonance's ongoing series of releases from Joe Segal's Jazz Showcase archives following acclaimed releases by Joe Henderson, Ahmad Jamal, Mal Waldron and Yusef Lateef in April of 2026. The deluxe package includes newly curated liner notes by Chicago-based, Grammy Award–winning journalist, radio host, music critic, and author Neil Tesser, plus statements from Joe Segal's son and longtime representative, Wayne Segal and Stu Katz.
