Juggling The Rainbow: Personal Writings About Non-Monogamous Relationships
A collection of personal essays that really provide a look at what it can be like to experience relationships beyond monogamy. This is not a collection meant to fuel your three way fantasies or make you want to throw monogamy out the window. Instead this zine shows how these people were able to explore themselves in a way that they couldn't in a monogamous relationship.
Issue 1
In the first essay the writer reflects on their current open relationship, how through this relationship they realised they had unresolved issues with race and how internalised racism, such as feeling ugly and unattractive about being Chinese. This zine is about more than polyamory. It's about exploring one's identity and relationship with themselves through their relationship with others.
Issue 2
In this issue the writer's explore what draws them to polyamory, the importance of communication and consent in any relationship, and how open relationships can strengthen the people that are in them.
30-40 pages, 1/2 US letter size. Black & white with pastel card covers.
